Deaths
Dale residents learned this week of the death on Monday morning of Mrs. Alvonzo Tipton, pioneer resident of Tipton community, the northeast part of Dale township. Though Mrs. Tipton was born at Dexter, Kansas, her whole life, with the exception of earliest childhood, was spent in the the community where she died.
She leaves besides the husband, eight children, Mrs. Florence Brown, Mrs. Gertrude Bossi, Mrs. Gladys Chambers, Bernice, Alice, Foster, Melvin and Alvonzo Junior.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Grandview church with Rev. E. McNeill officiating. Interment was made in Springside cemetery.
