The relatives and friends of Curtis are invited to attend his funeral service Friday, March 6, 2009, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, at two o'clock. Private burial planned. The family will receive friends Thursday between six and eight o'clock. Curtis was born on December 9, 1952 in Charleston, SC, the son of Charles Jacobi and Wilda Morrison Jacobi Hardy. He was self employed as a floor covering specialist, a former Rotarian and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Curtis was an avid sports fan and former coach of all sports for his son and daughter. He is survived by his son, Curt Jacobi of Bluffton, SC; daughter, Caroline Williams Jacobi of Mt. Pleasant, SC; brother, Charles Jacobi of Charleston, SC; three sisters: Charlene Mahaffey of Charleston, SC, Cheryl Geddings Uhrich of Summerville, SC and Carole Campbell of Charleston, SC; and one grandson, Coleman Jacobi. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Clinton Jacobi. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to C and C Memorial Fund, Bank of America, 5001 Ashley Phosphate Road, North Charleston, SC 29418.
