Private First Class Jimmy Earl Carter was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service and a Draftee, PFC Carter served our country until June 27th, 1967 in Tay Ninh, South Vietnam. He was 19 years old and was not married. It was reported that Jimmy died from small arms fire or grenade. His body was recovered. PFC Carter is on panel 22E, line 068 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for less than a year.

The Reverend Robert Woodson, Pastor, and the Reverend Lawrence Evans, a former Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow with full military honors in the Crocker Family Cemetery near Pine Level.
