AGE 83 YEARS
Adeline M. "Adel" McCarthy a Chelmsford resident, passed away on Friday December 16, 2016 at The Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
She was the loving wife of Edward F. McCarthy with whom she shared a true love story and 62 years of marriage.
She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Louise (DeChristoforo) Guarino.
Along with her husband, Mrs. McCarthy owned and operated Kwik Kopy in Westford for 23 years.
In addition to her husband, Adel is survived by her children,
Virginia Palazzo and her husband, Vincent of Belmont,
Louise DiFronzo of Chelmsford,
Catherine Hanam of North Brookfield,
Eileen McCarthy and her husband, Frank Geshwind of Madison, CT;
ten grandchildren, her siblings, Ernest Guarino and his wife, Betty of Medford, Luann Brown and her husband, David of NH, Daniel Guarino of Newburyport.
She was the sister of the late Richard Guarino and mother-in-law of the late Paul DiFronzo and Gerald Hanam.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary Church, Chelmsford.
Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
