MANCHESTER: Evelyn B. Milne, 79, died on July 5, 2007, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, after a period of declining health. She was born in Manchester on May 21, 1928, a daughter of Charles and [Frances Pearson] Fannie (Enos) Adams.
She was educated in Manchester schools and lived in Manchester her entire life. Mrs. Milne loved leisurely drives and trips to the mountains.
The family includes her husband of 60 years, Kenneth J. Milne of Manchester; sons Kenneth Milne, Jr., and Gary Milne, both of Manchester; daughters Cynthia Breault of Manchester and Sandra Sully of Concord; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother Raymond Adams of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at McHugh Funeral Home, 483 Beech St., corner of Hanover Street, Manchester. The funeral service is Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
