Alta Jo Virgil was my sister who died in a car wreck at the age of 32.
She was forced off the road, a number of sets of tire tracks were observed at the site, designating that more than a couple of people were involved. Unfortunately, whoever caused it was not caught. I can only hope they never did the same thing to anyone else.
Alta was the oldest of two children by our parents (Willis Edgar Virgil, Jr. and Iris Iwana Stovall Virgil), next to whom she is buried, along with our paternal grandparents (Willis Edgar Virgil, Sr., and, her namesake, Alta D. Virgil).
Alta Jo is tremendously loved and missed even more.
