Glynda (Nana) Williams, 73, of Wichita Falls, passed from this life on Saturday, December 17, 2016. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Caleb Carmichael, officiating. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 PM, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Glynda was born on August 24, 1943 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Hillard and Evelyn Talley Dickerson. She was a homemaker and was lovingly known as Nana to everyone in the community as she loved all the children as her own grandchildren. She married Billy Williams on October 9, 1964 in Wichita Falls. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 22 years, loved her family, crafting, cooking, and wood working. She was a member of the Faith Village Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Robert Dickerson. Survivors include her husband: Billy Williams of Wichita Falls; children: Lori Chandler and husband Steve of Wichita Falls, Penny Baxley and husband James of Burkburnett, Texas, Jack Williams and wife Tammy of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Justin Williams and wife Wendi of Anson, Texas; sisters: Ruby Wilson of Plano, Texas. Geneva Anderpont of Scott, Louisiana, and Mary Cantwell of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandchildren: Samantha Carmichael and husband Caleb, Kristi Donoho and husband Zane, Caitlin Williams, Haleigh Williams, and James Richard Wilson; great-grandchildren: Elysa, Kathryn, and Knox Donoho; and numerous extended children in this community.
