Lola Marie Floyd, age 62, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 19, 2005. Born in Heber Springs on September 26, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John and Alma (White) McGowan. Mrs. Floyd was a mother and homemaker. Her religious belief was non-denominational. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Floyd of Heber Springs; one son, Terry Floyd of Greenbrier; one daughter, Lela Marie Henigan of Benton; one brother, Leonard McGowan of Heber Springs; one sister, Roberta Rodgers of Payson, Arizona; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Floyd is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 20, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 21, at 10:30 a.m. in the Olmstead Chapel with Dr. J. R. DeBusk officiating. Interment will follow in South Cross Roads Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Davis, Bobby Floyd, Aaron Henigan, David McGowan, Rickey Floyd, and Dwain McGowan. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
