WALTER E. BINFORD III, 19, of WEST LONG BRANCH, died Thursday, Jan. 4, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Long Branch and lived in West Long Branch all of his life. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, West Long Branch, and was currently enrolled in Camelot, Staten Island, N.Y. He was a graduate of Frank Antonides School and attended Shore Regional High School, both of West Long Branch, where he played football and baseball, he also played Pop Warner football for nine years.
He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Walter E. Binford and John Morgan. Surviving are his parents, Walter E. Binford Jr. and Michele Morgan Binford; his brother, William and his sister, Emily, both at home; his paternal grandmother, Andrea Binford of Oceanport; his maternal grandmother, Valija Morgan of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at The Lutheran Church of the Reformation, West Long Branch, followed by entombment at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Camelot, Haberton Avenue, Staten Island, N.Y. Condolences may be e-mailed to [email protected] and will be received by the family.
