Loving mother of Kristen, Holly and Rebecca Hammond; beloved daughter of Helen Anastasi and the late Joseph Anastasi; cherished sister of Patrick and Anthony Anastasi, Joanna Shaulis and Annette Rease. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends including a devoted friend, Josephine Garcia. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 6 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the FORT LINCOLN FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD. Rosary services will be conducted at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 4902 Berwyn Rd., College Park, MD. Entombment will be at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
