Don Grossnickle, 74, of St. Joseph, Mo., and formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2007 in St Joseph.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 17th in the chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Snook officiating. Burial will be in Mineral Ridge Cemetery, Ridgeport, Iowa. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service.
Surviving are brothers, Dewey Evans of Mississippi, Morry (Pam) Evans of Fort Dodge, Ted (Becky) Evans of Fort Dodge; sister, Lois (Bruce) Cook of Moorland. He was preceded in death by his parents Clinton and Rosella (Grossnickle) Evans; a sister, Imogene; brothers, Lyle Melvin, Charles, Sam; and 3 nieces.
Donald Edwin Grossnickle was born February 17, 1932 in Des Moines. He attended the rural schools near Ridgeport and Stratford. He lived most of his life in California and later moved to Missouri.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
