Arrived in Sydney on the ship "Agenoria" from Plymouth, England on 25 May 1849 as a 7 year old child with his parents and 2 sisters. Married Lucy Rebecca White on 4 May 1867 in Patricks Plain (now Singleton) NSW. They had 7 children. First reported missing / deserted his wife in 1891 in the Victorian Police Gazette.
