Evelyn Ruth Wetherington, 86, of San Diego died Thursday. She was born in Valdosta, Ga.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Avila of North Carolina and Jerri Reeger of Simi Valley; son, Mare Wetherington of Carlsbad; sister, Merle James of San Diego; brother, Jeff James of Lakeland, Fla.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services: 12:30 p.m. Thursday, graveside, Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside.

Interment: Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
