MIDWAY, Wasatch County - Funeral services for Colleen Pitts Sorensen, 37, Midway, who died Tuesday after an illness in a Salt Lake City Hospital, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Midway Second Ward Chapel.
Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary in Heber City Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in the Midway Cemetery.
Mrs. Sorensen was born November 13, 1933, in Heber City, to George A. And Zella Moulton Pitts. She married Ralph B. Sorensen on December 30, 1950 in Heber City, and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Mrs. Sorensen was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Primary in various positions. She was also supervisor of the Welfare Advisory Committee.
Survivors include her husband, Midway; seven children, Debra Ann, Brad Ralph, Randall R., Scott Bert, Russell G., Christine C., and Paul R. Sorensen, all of Midway; her parents, Heber City; two brothers Donald M. Pitts, Bountiful, and Dr. George D. Pitts, Dallas, Tex.
