Donald E. Bach, 74, of Lynwood, IL passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Debbie (nee Thornhill); daughter, Donna (Bach) Storbeck; sons, Bill (Mary Ann) Bach and Brian Bach (Amy Anderson); grandson, Bill Bach; Honorary grandfather to Julia Hall, Taylor and Travis Anderson; sister, Rose Ann (Bob) Marchenonis; sisters- in-law, Mary Cavallini and Susan (Bill) Thornhill; brother-in-law, Mike Ulvila; many nieces and nephews, Karlie (Mike) Prokulewicz, Colleen (Justin) Wild, Sandy Cavallini, Charles Cavallini Jesse Cook, Caity Boicken, Wendy Sykora, Bill Thornhill, Chuck Sykora, David Sykora, Kevin Sykora and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Estelle Bach; sister, Mary Ellen Ulvila. Don grew up in the West Pullman area Chicago and moved to Lansing, then Lynwood, IL. He was a graduate of Fenger High School and the University of Illinois. After working for McDonald's and Sherwin Williams, he along with his partner, Jim Allen, opened Cam Golf Shop in Lansing, IL. He grew the business to 4 retail stores before selling them in 1991, then he concentrated on Cam Golf Inc.-Wholesale Division in Lynwood, IL where he retired in 2013. Don loved all types of sports and played tennis, golf, racketball, softball and bowling and was a lifelong CUBS fan. He and Debbie enjoyed traveling and spending time in the warm sun of Peoria, AZ. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
