William E. Morgan To Be Buried On Sunday

Mr. William E. Morgan, beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Parks Morgan, passed away quietly at his home in Calvary Thursday morning, Feb. 6th. He was in his 86th year.

Mr. Morgan had been ill for over two years and confined to his bed and his death was not unexpected.

Born September 8, 1861 he was the last surviving son of the late Thomas and Harriet Darby Morgan, both of Somerset County. Mr. Morgan lived in the Calvary section for over 75 years. He was a member of Asbury Church and while health permitted, was active in religious work of that church.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, February 9th at 2 o'clock from Asbury Church, conducted by Rev. J.T. Rowlenson, pastor.

Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery.

Tentative pallbearers are listed as Messrs. Jim Mosher, Ernest Sterling, Jim Sterling, Ralph Parks, Billy Nelson and Allen Parks.

Besides his widow he is survived by four sons, Clifton and Warren Morgan, of Baltimore and Elmer and Maurice Morgan, Crisfield; one son, William Jr. having preceded him in death. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren.
