Jimmy Henry Pike, age 65, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 21, 2005. Born in Quitman on March 1, 1940, he was the son of the late Willard Harold and Helen Elizabeth (Wilson) Pike. Mr. Pike was a retired truck driver for Caldwell Milling Company in Rose Bud. A lifetime resident of Quitman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Pike served in the National Guard. He was a member of South Cross Roads Church at Hopewell. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pike was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Pike and Ruth Pike. He is survived by his wife, Glenda J. (Healy) Pike of Quitman; one son, Jimmy Pike, Jr. of Quitman; one daughter, Kristie Tingle of Jena, Louisiana; one brother, Bill Pike of Quitman; and three grandchildren, Christopher Stark, Kyle Tingle, and Justin Tingle. Mr. Pike is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 22, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23, at 2:00 P.M. in the Olmstead Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Rolland and Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Center Point Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Henry Caldwell, Pat Pike, Robert Vaughn, Delane Wright, Sonny Balentine, and Larry McGee. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
