Dorothy T. (Pritzl) Kubale, 89, longtime resident of Green Bay, recently of Madison, WI, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014. She was born July 4, 1924, in Brillion to Louis J. and Anna (Eigenberger) Pritzl, Sr.

On October 25, 1945, Dorothy married Lawrence W. Kubale, Sr. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brillion. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2012. Dorothy started her nursing education with the Cadet Nursing Corps and graduated as a Registered Nurse from the St. Agnes Hospital School of Nursing in 1945. She had a long career at Bellin Memorial Hospital as a nurse and later as a p.m. Supervisor until retiring in 1989. Dorothy was a member of the Catholic Knights, St. Jude Parish, and St. Thomas Aquinas in Madison.

Survivors include her five children and their spouses, Victoria Ann and John Kassner III, Elizabeth Jane and Jack Gaywont, Lawrence William Jr. and Pamela Kubale, Joseph John Kubale, Peter Anthony and Rebecca Kubale; her grandchildren, Matthew and Jesse Kassner, Melissa and Shawn Gaywont, Scott, Nikki, Andrea and Aaron Kremer-Kubale, Katie Josephine and Christopher Kubale; great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Bernard Kubale; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Reinke; nieces, nephews, and many godchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by Lawrence, her husband of 67 years; son, John Joseph; daughter, Mary Kay Kubale; three brothers, Art, Louis, and Elmer Pritzl; and two sisters, Mary Lashua and Veronica Voss.

Friends may call at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division St., from 10 a.m. to Noon Monday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon Monday at the church with Rev. Ryan Krueger and Rev. Tim Coonen, O.M.I concelebrating. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family.
