Dolores H. McCarty, age 81, died on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Atlantic General Hospital. Born in Pennsauken, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Ellen Linehan Hoffman. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Lawrence J. McCarty and 8 children, sons Michael McCarty and his wife JoAnne of Audubon, NJ, Larry McCarty and his wife Cindy of Mt. Dora, FL, Edward McCarty and his wife Kelly of Germantown, MD, Thomas McCarty of Montgomery Village, MD, daughters Sharon Marrone and her husband Patrick of Colorado Springs, CO, Janine Fortes and her husband Thomas of Silver Spring, MD., and Nancy Corle and her husband Dennis of Ijamsville, MD. There are 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Carol Jacobson and her husband Jake of Sacramento, CA, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Adams in 2004.
