ALLISON, Constance Ann, 65, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Gomery and Constance Dutton Gomery. She is survived by her husband, Roger Terry Allison; daughter, Leslie Allison Tapley; three brothers, James Gomery, John Gomery and Michael Gomery. Ann was born in Hampton, Virginia on September 20th, 1951. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Berea College in Kentucky, a master of education degree from the College of William & Mary in Virginia, and an education specialist degree from Troy State University-Dothan in Alabama. Ann was an accomplished musician and served as choir director at various US Army military chapels overseas. She was an elementary school teacher in New Brockton, Alabama and in Zweibrucken, Germany. Ann served as an Education Administrator with the State of Alabama Department of Education before retirement. Ann was beloved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., followed by a Graveside Service in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive – Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923.
