Conda Dean "C.D." Moore, 89, passed away the morning of Dec. 24, 2016, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Sipe Springs, Texas, to Conda Hugh and Annie Moore. Conda served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1946. He moved to West Texas and began a 40-year career in the oil industry. In 1960, he moved his family to Farmington, where he lived and farmed on South Side River Road for 47 years simultaneously continuing his career in the oil field. He is survived by his wife, Mary, of 71 years; four children, Ladene Hermance of Denver, Brenda and Perry Lutz of Bloomfield, Tom and Betty Moore of Denver and Rick and Kathy Moore of Aztec; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 3 and half great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Carolyn Cook and family of Stephenville, Texas. His service will be at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 28 at the Aztec Church of Christ, 201 Ruins Road in Aztec. Burial will take place in Comanche, Texas. He was loved and will be missed.
