Nancy Lee Bailey, 62, Gouverneur, died Dec 24, 2016 at SamaritanMedical Center in Watertown. A memorial service at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Gouverneur with Rev. Gregory Bailey, a nephew of Nancy, officiating. Arrangements with the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Nancy was born in Gouverneur on Jul 2, 1954, daughter of Gilbert and Mabel Lazenby Bailey. She graduated from Gouverneur High School and attended Canton SUNY. Marriages to Charles Eells Jr. and Brian Schmidt ended in divorce. Nancy is survived by daughters, Erica Eells and companion Chad Zeller of Potsdam; Tina and DaQuan Hendricks of Watertown; and Tonia and Nada Blackman of Watertown; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and one on the way; a brother Ronald Bailey of Carthage. Nancy is predeceased by her parents and siblings; Bruce, Roger, and Roderick "Doug" Bailey; Timothy Lazenby George, Gloria Blair and Shirley Blandin.
