Dorotha was the daughter of Orval & Lora Pryor Mann. She married Luke Tilford Ellis, the son of John A. & Maggie McDougald Ellis, on August 11, 1923 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The couple were the parents of Phyllis Anne and Luke Ellis. Mrs. Ellis suffered a miscarriage and passed away, ten days later, from the effects of peritonitis.
