WILLIAM B. FENTON DEAD

William B. Fenton, 74 years old, a resident of Atchison and Doniphan counties 50 years, died at his home, 1303 Division street, at 8:20 o'clock Saturday night, of senile dementia, after a long illness. He was born in Ohio, October 18, 1843, and moved to Doniphan county after the Civil war, during which he served in an Ohio regiment. He settled on a farm near Denton, where he lived nearly 40 years, moving to Atchison upon retiring from active farming 12 years ago. He is survived by his aged widow, two grown children who live in Doniphan county and a nephew, A. L. Fenton, 421 Division street. Funeral services were held from the residence at 1 o'clock this afternoon conducted by Dr. W. A. Keve, pastor of the Methodist church, and burial was in the Denton Cemetery
