Jack S. Fluharty 84, of Plum Run Community, Mannington WV died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Dec. 12, 1932 a son of the late Millard "Bill" and Goldie Moore Fluharty.
Survived by his loving wife of over sixty years, Evelyn Wilson Fluharty, a son: Dirk Fluharty and his companion, Regina Riggs, a grandson, Anthony Fluharty and his wife, Regina; and a great granddaughter, Layla Fluharty; three brothers: Tom Fluharty, Jerry Fluharty and Don Fluharty; five sisters: Nancy Gump, Mary Gump, Phyllis Hart, Aneda Britved and Janet Sanders.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Fluharty and a grandson Phillip Jon Fluharty(134150760).
He was retired from Eureka Pipe Line Co after several years of service as a tank truck driver. He enjoyed a lifetime of farming and loved playing with his great granddaughter the past four years.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington on Friday, Dec. 30 from 2 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 am with Larry Kincell officiating. Interment will be at Fluharty Cemetery, Plum Run.
