James was born July 31, 1944 in Jackson County, NC. He is the son of the late Hal James and the late Alma (Plemmons) Beasley.
James Harold worked as a sales person for J H B Marketing. He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Carolyn Irene (Frisbee) Beasley, one son, Brandon Beasley; a sister, Frances Stump of Sylva, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Ed. Jenkins of Charleston, SC, his business partner. James Harold loved golf. He was a member of East Sylva Baptist Church.
The funeral will be held 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 1 at Appalachian Funeral Services, 165 Skyland Drive, Sylva, NC with Rev. Charles Dean, and Rev. Reed Benson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Sylva. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
