Age 53, of Flint, died Friday, December 30, 2016, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Mt. Morris. Pastor Ted Stephens will officiate with burial to follow at Mt. Morris Cemetery. Duane's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 11:00 am until the time of service. Duane was born January 15, 1963, in Flint, to Lyle Earl Lightle and Charlotte Louise (Roome) Lightle. He was a mechanic in the automotive industry for many years. He enjoyed many hobbies, including hunting, fishing, watching the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan football, watching western movies, and was a fan of classic cars. Duane also enjoyed taking vacations with his family, and had fond memories of traveling up north to Glennie, Michigan. He was a kindhearted, and loving man who will be missed greatly.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Amanda Lightle; two nephews: Brandon (Elizabeth) Novak, and Joseph Novak; his great-nephew, Wayne Novak; brother, Robert Lightle; and sister, Brenda Lightle.
