Ella Florence Huff, age 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 15, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.

Ella was born September 30, 1921 in Bucyrus, Kansas, to Marvin and Dora West. She was one of 4 children. Ella lived in Kansas until she met and married Frederick (Bob) Huff on December 10, 1944. She then moved to Yakima.

There was never a doubt that Ella's greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. She loved them dearly. Ella was a remarkable person. She had an amazing way of touching people and leaving a lasting impression. She loved doing things for others and helping where she could. Ella will be deeply missed.

Ella's hobbies included her church, gardening and baking. She took great pride in her house plants and her beautiful garden. She was best known for her famous chocolate cake; her amazing monster cookies; coffee cakes; banana bread, cheesecake, and of course her wonderful caramel corn. She loved baking for her friends and family.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Dora West; her loving husband of nearly 45 years, Fred; her brothers John and Marvin West; her sister, Louise Casper; and her niece Jean Ann Bass.

Surviving family includes her daughter Linda Raber (Bill); her granddaughter Kristin Heidgerken (Brian); and her granddaughter Karley Raber (TJ Lange), Lois and Dale Blair and nieces and nephews.
