Mrs. Henry Fehrmann, 73, died last night at the family home in Newton.
She suffered a stroke five years ago and has since been in poor health.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Wattawa,
Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at 2 o’clock from the St. John’s
Lutheran church, Newton. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Fehrmann, nee Enanda Anderson, was born at Manitowoc Rapids in 1864
and in 1890, was married to Mr. Fehrmann. They took up their residence
on the homestead farm in Newton.
Survivors are the widower; daughter, Mrs. Paul Stockmeier, city; son
Leonard of Newton; brother, Theodore, Manitowoc Rapids; two sisters, Mrs.
Charles Fehrmann, Newton, Mrs. Hans Halverson, Sawyer, Wis.; and three
grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Thursday evening until
the hour of the services Saturday.
