ABELAIRA, Dora, 92, went to her Heavenly Home on Dec. 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Manuel Abelaira. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Lezama and son-in-law Carlos Lezama; grandchildren, Julie and Tony Bianchi, Kelly and Robby Fox; and great-grandchildren, Alexia, Alyssa, and Alaina Bianchi, Monica and Joey Fox. Dora had a Doctorate in Education from the University of Havana. Teaching was her profession and her passion. She was also an excellent dominoes player and enjoyed crossword puzzles. The family would like to thank everyone at Buena Vida Care for their excellent and loving care. A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 at 11:00am at the First Hispanic Presbyterian Church, 2828 W Kirby in Tampa. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
