Annie Bruce Grady Albertson, 81, passed from this life into the presence of her Lord and Savior Monday evening, Jan. 2, 2017, while at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

She was a native of and longtime resident of the Blizzards Crossroads/White Flash section of Duplin County.

Preceded in death by her husband, Randall Albertson; her parents, Frank and Callie Belle Outlaw Grady; and a sister, Inez Grady Mercer; she is survived by two daughters, June Albertson Waller and husband, Derald Smith, of Goldsboro and Joan Albertson Page of Edmond, Okla.; three grandchildren, Chris Waller and wife, Robin, of Wilmington, Evan Page of Fayetteville, Ark., and Kendall Page of Edmond, Okla.; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Graham Waller of Wilmington; several nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Phyllis Rouse and Patsy Smith and husband, Ray, all of Beulaville.

Annie Bruce was employed for 35 years at Moye Library at the University of Mount Olive.

She was a longtime member of Garner's Chapel Baptist Church, having served as church clerk, deacon, choir member and Sunday School teacher, as well as on various committees and in many other needed capacities.
