Hazel V. (Benson) Minton, 83, of Ozark, Alabama passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Rose Verhine. She was born on April 15, 1933. She was one of five siblings.
Mrs. Minton is survived by two sons, Steve (Brenda) Benson of Decatur, AL, Scott (Deborah) Benson of Eufaula, AL; brother, James Verhine of Rossville, GA; grandchildren, Paul (Ashley) Lamon of Trinity, AL, Emily Jackson of Springville, TN, Diamond Thomas of Decatur, AL, Ashley Patterson of Eufaula, AL, Dylan Patterson of Eufaula, AL; and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She loved spending time with her family, friends, reading, playing dominos, and card games.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 31, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 pm. at the funeral home and a graveside service will be at Cedar Hill Cemetary at 2:00 p.m.
