MOUNDRIDGE -- Nina U. Becker, 83, homemaker, died Sunday (Jan. 7, 2001) at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.She was born May 9, 1917, to Elias and Susie (Schultz) Unruh in Coldwater. She married Lewie F. Becker June 22, 1943, in McPherson. He survives.She was a member of Gospel Church of God in Christ in Moundridge. She had been a Moundridge resident for 22 months, moving from McPherson.Other survivors include: a son, Ranford E. Becker of Springfield, Ore.; a daughter, Mary L. Koehn of Andover; four brothers, Edwin Unruh of La Mesa, Calif., Joe Unruh of McPherson, Arvin Unruh of Canton and Darold Unruh of Galva; seven sisters, Dora Unruh of Galva, Maurine Christensen of McPherson, Velma Deppe of Delanco, N.J., Florence Dearing of Easton, Penn., Marie Unruh of Conega Park, Calif., Betty Wiseman of Fritch, Texas, and Thelma Gibson of Bixby, Okla.; and four grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.Funeral service was Thursday at Gospel Church of God in Christ with Ministers Dale Koehn and Dean Becker officiating.Burial was in Lone Tree Church Cemetery in rural Galva.Memorials have been established with Moundridge Manor in care of the funeral home, 115 E. Cole, Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.
