Betty, age 83, was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann Proch. She married William Bailey but later divorced.
She graduated Rosedale High School in 1951 and was the secretary at KSU History Department for 28 years.
Survivors include her sons, Kevin and Lance, two grandsons, her sister, Gail Mealman, and her brother, Joe Proch.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services were held at the College Avenue United Methodist Church in Manhattan, Kansas.
