Sharon L. Albert, 65, of Greensburg, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.
She was born May 24, 1951, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Alan and Sarah Stewart.
Her working career began as an Avon representative. She later was a daycare teacher and lastly a home health care aide. She was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church, South Greensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Albert; and her daughter, Kristen L. Albert. She is survived by her son, T.J. Albert Jr. (Ang), of Greensburg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roy T. Albert Jr., Louise Alda, Susan Drabic (Bill), Dorothy Miller, Michael Shifko (Chery) and Margaret Shifko, all of Greensburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Archpriest John Nosal officiating.
Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
