Norbert James Beauch, age 85, Temperance, MI passed away January 4, 2017 in Vibrant Life Assisted Living under the care of Hospice of Northwest,Ohio. The son of Clayton and Frances (Stark)Beach, he was born on November 8, 1931 in La Salle Michigan. Norbert served in the Korean War where he was the recipient of two bronze stars and the Purple Heart Medal. He married the love of his life, Dolores Ridgeway on May 29, 1954, whom he spent 57 years together before her passing on June 30, 2011. He worked for Columbia Gas of Ohio as an inspector retiring in 1994 after 37 years of service. Norbert enjoyed playing the guitar, deer hunting with his brothers in Pennsylvania, bowling with his sons and grandchildren and taking care of his family and yard. Nobody survived by his loving children, Rick (Mary) Beauch, Doug (Kim) Beauch and Darc (Tom) LaPointe; grandchildren Bridget, Eric (Ashley), Daniel( Abby) and Alan (Raquel); Brother, Dale (KD) Beauch; sisters-in-law Diane Beauch and Patricia Carrozza. Prodded in death by his wife Dolores, sister Shirley (Jack) Krawetzke; brother, Donald (Carol) and Paul Beauch. A very special thank you to the wonderful caregivers at Viibrant Life in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 from 2 PM until 8 PM in the Urbanski Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave., Temperance, Michigan. The funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmell Catholic Church, Temperance, Michigan where he will lie in state in the narthex after 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Erie MI, where military honors will be conducted by the Lambertville VFW Post 9656. Donations may be made to the Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Our Lady of Mount Caramel Church.
