BOONE — Three Fort Dodgers were killed in an automobile accident in Boone County on Sunday that appeared to be weather related.
Michael Evan Reed, 28, Andrea Leigh Reed, 24 and Isabelle Reed, 3, of Fort Dodge, died in the two vehicle accident, which occurred on Iowa Highway 17 four miles north of U.S. Highway 30 near Boone.
According to a report released by the Iowa State Patrol, the Reeds were northbound on Highway 17, which was 100 percent snow and ice covered when the accident occurred Sunday afternoon.
