ESSIE BELLE MILLER "MEME" LEV passed away peacefully at Houston Hospice after a short illness on January 15, 2007. Essie was preceded in death by her loving daughters Janet Renee Griffith and Laura Taylor Kenney. She is survived by her husband of 41 years Ervin, daughter Beverly Woodward and children Jacquelyn Woodward and great granddaughter Aurora Moran and Lacey Woodward, daughter Alicia Lev Louvier and husband Scott and children Zachary Louvier and Madison Louvier, granddaughter and child Angela Zepeda Walther and husband Carl, granddaughter and child Candice Belle Zepeda and daughter Piper Bolton, grandson and child Randall Yauch, Jr. and wife Crystal Sawyer and children Cass Sawyer and Dalton Yauch, son-in-law Delbert Griffith and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at Forest Park East Funeral Home. A funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 10 A.M. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions in Essie's name be made to Houston Hospice, 1905 Holcombe Blvd. Houston, TX 77030-4123 The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Luke's Hospital and the doctors and nurses and staff at Houston Hospice for the loving care and compassion during her stay.
