HOLMAN, Y. GAIL, 44, passed away Friday, January 12, 2007 at University Hospital. She was a cook for Soney Restaurant. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Henderson; one son, Johnny Ray Holman. Survived by one son, Damon O. Holman, Jr; four daughters, Barbara Bass, Brenna Perry-Whitehead, Denise VanMeter and Freda Young; two sisters, Gloria Henderson and Dorothy Holman; one brother, John T. Henderson, Jr., loving companion, Scot Rhynes and 14 grandchildren. Visitation at the Schoppenhorst Brothers Funeral Home 1832 West Market from noon to time of service at 3 p.m. Wednesday Burial at Smithfield Cemetery, noon Sunday.
