GULSBY, John Michael, 58, a resident of Montgomery, AL died Thursday, January 11, 2007.John was a native of Uriah, AL and grew up in Mobile, AL. He graduated at Murphy High and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam war. He retired from Regions Bank after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Mystic Stripers Mardi Gras Society in Mobile. John was an avid motorcyclist and spent several years as a member of the Montgomery Chapter of the Harley Hogs, often serving as Ride Captain for group rides. He also served as the editor of the monthly newsletter.

Funeral services will be Sunday, January 14, 2007 at 12:30 PM at Leak-Memory Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Gulsby is preceded in death by his parents Bruce and Esther Gulsby and his sister Miriam McNeil. He is survived by his wife Jonell "Jj" Yeager Gulsby, daughters Jeri Alyce Gulsby and Brenda Michelle Jenkins and her husband Dan, son Brian Michael Gulsby and his wife Marilyn, grandchildren Madelyn Christine Gulsby and Bailey Danielle Jenkins and sisters Mary Kathryn Norris and husband Bill R., Eugenia Gulsby and Rebecca Ann Biggs and husband Hal, brothers Kenneth Bruce Gulsby and wife Reba, Donald Haden Gulsby and wife Alma and R. Larry Gulsby and wife Linda and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Leak-Memory Chapel from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Montgomery Wellness Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
