Al and his brother, Ted owned Benny’s Florist and Centralia Flower Shop for over 50 years. He proudly served in the Army during World War II. He was a active member at Bethel Assembly of God, Rotary and Elks. He was on the board of directors of FTD and served as president of NW Florist Association. He loved to travel, sports and working in his flower shop.
Al is survived by daughter, Joyce Benny (David) McKe chnie; granddaughters, Sarah and Lauren; son, Gary (Jean) Benny; grandson, Blake; granddaughter, Cara; and great-grandson, Oscar; brother, Ron (Buck) Benny; sisters, Freida Carter and Thora Duey.
Memorial service will be held Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Assembly of God, Chehalis, Wash.
