Rollie Thoms Norris 88, of Oak Manor nursing home, Columbus died there Thursday.
A graveside funeral will be 11:15 am today at Riverdale Cemetery, according to Striffler- Hamby Mortuary, Columbus.
Mr. Norris was born April 9, 1903, in Centerpoint, White County, Tennessee son of Mr. Thomas Jesse Norris and Lillie Etta McWhirter. He had lived in Columbus since 1929 and retired as a real estate agent. He was a former adviser to the commander of the 81st Divison Automotive Section at Camp Rucker. He was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and its men's Wesley Bible Class, was a member of Columbian Masonic Lodge No. 7 and was a former member of Columbus Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Klein and a sister, Edna Sanborn of Nashville Tennessee.
In liew of flowers, donations may go to St. Luke United Methodist Church or to Charity.
