John J. Nichols III, 53, of Brockton, died Dec. 28, 2016 from pneumonia. He was a 1981 graduate of Brockton High School and was proprietor of Details Details Inc. John was the son of Jean (Sill) Nichols Thorne of NC and the late John J. Nichols II, brother of Judy Nichols Cibelli of NC and the late James E. Nichols. A memorial service will be held in the spring and burial will be at Melrose Cemetery∼John died suddenly from complications of severe pneumonia.
He was a General Contractor and was the Founder and Owner of Details Detail's, Inc. located in Brockton, Mass.
Some of John's favorite music was the Steve Miller Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Boston and Cream. Anyone that knew John knew that music was an important factor in his life because he was an amazing Ballroom dancer. He tried several times to teach me some dance moves, but I have two left feet :) He was a member of USADance/MASSabda Chapter 3002 - something that he enjoyed immensely. John attended Bridgewater State University. He was also one of the original members of the online group "The Boston Common" for over 15 years - he was part of our family and we miss him intensely.
