B. Aileen Moser, 91, of Heckathorne Road, Scott Township, passed away at 4:56 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, in Majors Manor, Princeton.

Born Oct. 31, 1918, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Mary E. Kennedy McHattie. She also was preceded in death by her stepfather, Frank Bratchie. She married James W. Moser. He died in June 1982.

Mrs. Moser was a member of Princeton Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Sunday School class and its Margaret Allison quilting class.

Survivors include a son, Keith Moser and wife, Betty, of New Castle; a daughter, Ruth Garrett and husband, Joel, of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Jeff, Stephen and Kevin Moser, Emily and Ian Garrett, and Elizabeth Bebout; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, stepfather and husband, Mrs. Moser was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence E. McHattie.

Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 208 N. Jefferson St. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. and will be conducted by the Rev. Joel Garrett, Mrs. Moser's son-in-law. Burial will be in Mount Hermon Cemetery.
