Bob was preceded in death by one son; Roger L. “Tubby” Casto, five brothers; Hersel, William, Charles, Kenneth, and Raymond Casto, four sisters; Vera Dickenson Overfield, Lucille Bailey, Hazel Ward, Emma Smith.
Bob was retired as a heavy equipment operator from Martinkus and Badger Coal Mines, he also was a carpenter, and owner/operator of Volga Store. Bob enjoyed woodworking, gardening and camping. He attended the Boulder United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday December 22, from 5-8 pm and on Friday December 23, from 8 am – 2 pm the service hour with Rev. Sherman Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.∼Robert was the son of Hoy Abraham Casto and Addie Wice Callahan Casto.
