Elizabeth (Betty) P. Bradshaw, 83, longtime Ellensburg resident, died Sunday, March 29 at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. She was born November 15, 1886 at Harper, Kansas, and came to Ellensburg from Seattle in 1923. She was married to Barton C. Bradshaw March 12, 1924 at Soap Lake. He preceded her in death April 10, 1963.

From 1923 until her retirement in 1947, Mrs. Bradshaw operated Betty's Beauty Shop on Pearl Street. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, a lifelong member of Rebekah Lodge and past member of the Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Florence Vaughn, 804 A Street, with whom she had made her home; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Robert Gardinier, Ellensburg, and Mrs. Glen Herbert, Prosser; two stepsons, Waldo and Dwight Bradshaw, both of Ellensburg; eleven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

A wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday in St. Andrew's Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the church at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Thorp Cemetery.
