Mrs. Grace E. Little, 50, wife of Jack V. Little of 11850 Orchard Lane, died at 1:45 AM Tuesday in the Waynesboro Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past year and was critically ill since being admitted to the hospital last Friday. She was born in Everett, July 3, 1930, daughter of Mrs. Edna (Avey) Reeder of Waynesboro, and the late Clarence M. Reeder. Most of her life was lived in Waynesboro and she was a graduate of the Waynesboro High School with the class of 1948. She was also a graduate of the New York Institute of Merchandising in 1951, and for several years was employed as personnel manager at Eyerly's Store in Hagerstown. She and Mr. Little were married November 1, 1952, and had made their home at the present residence for the past three years. Prior to that they had resided in Wilmslow, Cheshire, England. Before that they lived in Leitersburg, Maryland, Chicago, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa. Mrs. Little was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Beta Y Gradale, the Waynesboro Country Club and the Waynesboro Hospital Auxiliary. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by 2 daughters and a son, Cindy Little Edwards, Laurie Little, and Jack V. Little, Jr. all of Waynesboro. Also surviving is a brother Joseph Reeder, Waynesboro. Services will be Friday at 11 am in the Grove Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Carl Buterbaugh. Burial will be in the Quincy Cemetery. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Chapter of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation in care of the First National Bank & Trust Co.
