Constance C. Corsino RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. - Constance C. Corsino, MD, died at the age of 62 in her home in Rancho Cucamonga, Dec. 25, 2007. She was a native of Norfolk, co-valedictorian of the Norview High School, Class of 1962, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Westhampton College and graduate of the Medical College of Virginia. Until her retirement in June, she served on the staffs of various hospitals in and near Upland, Calif., and maintained her private pediatric practice in Chino, Calif., for more than 33 years. Dr. Corsino is survived by her two daughters, Frances and Casey; her mother, Bettie C. Chappell of Virginia Beach; her father, Earl B. Chappell Jr. of Murfreesboro, N.C.; and brother, Dr. Earl B. Chappell III of Virginia Beach. A private graveside funeral was conducted Dec. 28, 2007, in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Her brother presided. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made either to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of one's choice.
