Betty Charlene Belk, 82, homemaker, died January 13, 2017 at Baptist Hospital Tipton. She was a member of Eastern Star, and a member of River of Life Assembly of God Church. The family will receive friends at a catered reception Saturday, January 14, from 5-8 pm. and service 2 p.m. Sunday, January 15 both at Munford Chapel. Interment will be in Helen Crigger Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gene Belk, parents, Harry and Velma Stimpson, grandson Barry Belk, Jr. and one great-grandson, Harper Young. She leaves three sons, James A. (Bootsie) Belk, Bobby W. Belk, and Barry (Runt) Belk; sisters, Bonnie Forbess, Mary Jane Talley; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Memorials in her honor may be made to River of Life Assembly of God Church.
