Alfred Lawrence Sharbono Lockett Santwire was the son of Henry Joseph Sharbono Lockett and his wife Cora Belle Davis Lockett. When Cora Belle left around 1905 Alfred was sent to live with his cousin, Mary Sharbono Santwire and her hsband Peter Santwire. Alfred then was either adopted or assumed the name of "Santwire".
